The largest training of IT employees from the central government administration ended with the issuance of 355 certificates for a successfully completed course. The training was carried out under a project of the Ministry of Transport, Information Technology and Communications. It was financed under Operational Program Administrative Capacity – “Improving qualifications of the employees from the central government administration by extending the knowledge and practical skills to manage IT software projects in accordance with modern methodologies”
Deputy Minister Mr. Valery Borissov commented that there is an increase in the knowledge and practical skills of the IT staff as a result of the training. “While they scored 52% on the entry test, on the final test they managed to go over 86%. The trainees showed very good command of various topics”. The Deputy Minister cited data from surveys completed at the end of the training, according to which about 90 percent of the IT employees think that the training will bring exclusive or significant benefit to their work. “Almost everyone reckoned the training well-timed and I believe it will affect the performance of each of them and their teams in the development of electronic services and system maintenance. Even though this is a project managed and implemented by MTITC it has a positive impact on all the institutions involved.”
According to the feedback a total of 94% of the trainees claim that they have reached all of the goals they had set in the beginning. The applicability of the acquired knowledge in immediate work was reckoned significant by 60% of IT employees.
The training began on 16th Feb 2015, and was organized in modules – “Cyber Security”, ‘’Business Analysis’’, ‘’System Administration’’, and ‘’Java Programming’’. The project is worth 1,913,372 05 lev and implemented by the “Consortium IT Training 2015 " OCAC. |
