We provide about 750 million levs under the Operational Programme "Transport and Transport Infrastructure" 2014-2020 on the construction of Lot 3.1, Lot 3.3 and tunnel "Zheleznitza" of Highway "Struma", said the Minister of Transport, Information Technology and Communications, Ivailo Moskovski during the signing of contracts for construction, design and supervision of Lot 3.3 of the highway.
"At the beginning of the first programming period of the OP "Transport" 2007-2013, the beneficiaries did not have a good project readiness which led to delays", said Ivaylo Moskovski. He stressed that the new operational programme starts with good pace and expressed his confidence that all projects will be completed on schedule.
Lot 3.3 of "Struma" is about 23.6 kilometers long and covers the route between Kresna and Sandanski. The selected contractor for design and construction is Consortium "Struma - Lot 3.3". The deadline for completion is three and half years. The total value of the contract amounts to 255 773 414 levs with VAT. The value of the contract with "Patinvest-engineering" AD for supervision amounts to 3 597 793 levs with VAT and the deadline for completion is 60 months. |
