The Deputy Minister of Transport, Information Technology and Communications Valery Borissov and the Deputy Minister for Economic Affairs at the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of the Republic of Korea Lee Tae-ho signed a protocol of the first session of the Joint Bulgarian-Korean Intergovernmental Commission for Economic Cooperation, at the end of the meeting, which took place today at the premises of the Ministry of Transport, Information Technology and Communications.

At the first session talks were held on the collaboration in different fields. A priority for both countries is the inter-state cooperation which is to be developed in several fields, including the renewal of the activities of the Committee for cooperation in information and communication technologies.

Other areas which the two delegations discussed are: strengthening the ties between the Bulgarian Investment Agency and the Korean Agency for the promotion of trade and investments, organizing the second session of the Committee for Industrial Cooperation in due time, convening the Committee for Economic Cooperation between the Bulgarian Chamber of Commerce and the Korean Chamber of Commerce and the first session of the Committee on Science and Technology.
