Ministry of Transport, Information Technology and Communications

At the premises of the Ministry of Transport, Information Technology and Communications was celebrated the 15th anniversary of Executive Agency "Railway Administration" (EARA).

The Chief Secretary of the Ministry of Transport, Information Technology and Communications Ivan Markov read a congratulatory address on behalf of Minister Ivaylo Moskovski. In the address the Minister highlights the significance of EARA as a regulatory body that performs coordination and control in the field of rail transport. "Thus, we guarantee security and safety of passengers and freights", says in the congratulatory address Minister Moskovski.

The Executive Director Vesselin Vassilev made a brief retrospection on the work of the agency, stressing that for 15 years has  been established a well-functioning structure. Since its establishment until now has been successfully applied European legislation which is proved by the first licenses in the railway sector, the opening up of the rail market, and the first certificates issued by the agency.

The event was attended by representatives of the entire rail sector in Bulgaria.
