IVAN MARKOV
Secretary General Ivan Markov holds a master's degree in Accounting from the University of National and World Economy, Sofia. From 1995 to 2006, he was at the Sofia Directorate of the Public Financial Control and the Public Internal Financial Control Agency with the Ministry of Finance. In 2006 he became the Chief Internal Auditor of the "Internal Audit" Directorate at the Ministry of Economy and Energy and in 2007 he joined the Ministry of Defence as the Director of the "Planning, Prorgamming and Budgeting" Directorate. Prior to his current position as the Secretary General of the Ministry of Transport, Information Technology and Communications, he was the Secretary General of the Executive Agency "Bulgarian Accreditation Service" and the Director of the Financial Directorate at the Ministry of Defence. He has a good command of English and Russian. |
