The Auction for a Selection of the Supervisor of Danube Bridge 2 Starts Today

The public auction for selection of Supervisor to the project “Building of a new combined border bridge, both railway and road, over the river Danube, near Vidin- Kalafat starts today. It takes place under the rules of the European Commission and is with a preliminary qualification, namely, minimum 4 and maximum 8 from all participants will be chosen, to set up the so-called short list. The period for submitting the applications is running from today December 07, 2005 and goes to end to January 20, 2006. The contract with the selected Supervisor will be signed to the middle of the year 2006. The Supervisor will examine and coordinate the engineering project, prepared by the builder of the bridge, and will realize the building supervision for the time of the implementation. The contract is with a maximum amount of 7 million euro, duration of 51 months, including the mobilization period, 38 months for the realization (designing and building) of the bridge and 12 months guarantee period.
