The Executive Agency Automobile Administration Ordered an Immediate Examination in Connection with the “Group Plus” Bus Accident

Executive Agency Automobile Administration ordered an immediate examination in connection with the “Group Plus” LTD bus accident. The event happened by 7 o’clock am, this morning on boulevard “Vladimir Vazov”. The bus was traveling on the route Dobrich – Varna.

As the police announced, the traffic light was out of order. As a result of the shock, the driver has been injured; furthermore 11 passengers have been transported for a medical examination, without apparent injuries.

Two violations have been ascertained by the examination, which has been ordered by the Executive Agency “Automobile Administration”. The first one is that in the crashed Bus a tachograph record was not found.

The second violation of the rules concerns the average speed of the vehicle, which is above the admissible for the route.

The accident happened at 7.00 am, while the bus should be at the Central railway station at 8.53 am according to the previous schedule, or at 9.23 am in conformity with the corrected time-table.

An examination in the firm “Group Plus” has been ordered. The bus has been submitted for periodical technical inspection in January 2006. The inspection went without remarks.

The vehicle has a protocol for perfect working tachograph and speed restraint. The driver has been employed on a regular labor contract and had no discipline breaches and punishments.
