The 15th Session of the Mixed Inter-Governmental Bulgarian – Iranian Commission Will Take Place in Sofia

The 15th session of the Mixed Inter-Governmental Bulgarian – Iranian Commission for economical and science-technical cooperation will take place in Sofia tomorrow, May 09, 2006 in Home number 2 of the “Boyana” Residence. Chairman of the Mixed Inter-Governmental Commission from Bulgarian side is the Minister of Transport Peter Mutafchiev. The Iranian delegation will be leaded by the Minister of the Roads and Transport of the Islamic Republic of Iran Mohamed Rahmati, also a chairman of the Iranian part of the Mixed Commission. The two ministers will open the session at 11.30 am. During the session the commercial-economical cooperation for the past period between the 14th and the 15th session of the Inter-Governmental Commission will be analyzed. The proposals of the both sides for accelerating the economical and commercial relations in the fields of mutual interest will be discussed - transport, commercial-economical cooperation, energy, finance, regional development and public works, agriculture, sanitation, information-technologies, and communications. An agreement memorandum in the field of sanitation between the Ministry of Health of the Republic of Bulgaria and the Ministry of Health and Medical Education of the Islamic Republic of Iran is foreseen to be signed at the end of the session.
