Executive Agency “Maritime Administration” Organizes the First Bulgarian – Rumanian Meeting “River Information Services”

Executive Agency “Maritime Administration” organizes the first Bulgarian – Rumanian meeting “River Information Services”. The event will take place on May 15th – 16th in Ruse. Recently in Rumania began to operate a system for river information services along the river Danube. The main goal of the bilateral meeting in Ruse is the possibilities for building a Bulgarian – Rumanian integrated system in the common sector of the river, to be discussed. From Bulgarian side the director-executive of Executive Agency “Maritime Administration” captain Venzislav Ivanov will attend the meeting, as well experts from the agency. Rumanian representatives will read lectures regarding the River information services, in accordance with Directive 2005/44/EU about the harmonized river information services on the domestic water ways of the Union.
