Minister Mutafchiev Will Visit Kazanlak

The Minister of Transport Peter Mutafchiev will visit Kazanlak on June 2, 2006 in connection with the celebration of the traditional Rosa Feast. During his visit the Minister of Transport and the mayor of the municipality Stefan Damianov will open the renovated railway station square. The ceremony will take place at 12.20 in front of the railway station building. The reception hall of the railway station Kazanlak has been built in 1968. The last time the railway station has been renovated was in 2000. Currently, in accordance with the project “Detailed Communication – Transport Plan of Railway Station Square – Kazanlak, a renovation of the railway station and its surroundings is being accomplished. The project includes the construction of two new parking lots, covering with asphalt of the road infrastructure, park and street lighting, gasification etc. The above activities are financed by the municipality of Kazanlak. At that moment The National Company “Railway Infrastructure” is accomplishing a repair of the reception hall. The total amount of the construction and assembly works is up to 211 672 leva.
