Minister Mutafchiev Will Attend the Meeting of the EU Transport Ministers and the Associated Member Countries

The Minister of Transport Peter Mutafchiev will attend an informal meeting of the EU Transport Ministers and the Associated member countries. Subject of the forum will be “Innovative Methods in the Road Safety” and it will take place on November 3rd and 4th 2006 in Verona, Italy. During the meeting, questions connected with the children mobility and their safety on the road will be discussed. Also matter of a discussion will be topics regarding the safety of the people using two wheel vehicles, as well as the technological innovations for traffic safety. Within the framework of the third session of the forum the theme “Planning and Policy of the traffic safety” will be discussed. Minister Mutafchiev will introduce to the participants of the event the national policy for road safety, the measures which have been already taken and the cooperation with the nongovernmental organizations, working on these matters.
