Executive Agency “Railway Administration" with a New Director

Executive Agency “Railway Administration” has a new Director-Executive from today, after the former Director retired on a pension. The new appointed chief of the agency is Simeon Ananiev Ananiev. He has graduated “Exploitation of the Railway Transport” at the Electro-Technical Institute. Later he defended his second magister dissertation at VTU “Todor Kableshkov”, with the subject “Transport Company Economics”. Now he is working on the doctor dissertation on the theme “Competitiveness of the Freight Railway Operators in the conditions of a liberalized transport market” at the UNSS. Simeon Ananiev has a reach professional experience in the field of railways. From 1981 to 1988 he has occupied different positions in the Railway region – Sofia – technologist, department chief, deputy director. In 1989 he has worked in Railway Administration – Sofia, department “load, unload and container works”. Now he is a chief assistant in VTU “Todor Kableshkov”, department “Technics, Technology and management of the Transport”. Has an excellent command on Russian and German languages.
