The Delegation of the Ministry of Transport Came Back from a Work Visit in Turkey

The delegation of the Ministry of Transport, leaded by the Deputy Minister of Transport Daniela Nikiforova came back, after a work visit in the Republic of Turkey. The conversations which the Bulgarian experts carried on with the representatives of the Turkish sea administration were directed towards the clarifying of some questions, connected with the accident with the motor ship "Hera". The visit took place on the insistence of the Bulgarian side and was accomplished with the support of the Turkish Ministry of Transport, and the Turkish sea administration. It became clear, during the talks, that every interrogation must be handled with an order of the court. The Turkish side guaranteed that every order will receive an answer in a very short time, because of the priority, given to the casus. The Turkish authorities emphasized that the initiative for every future action on this case shall follow the procedures, foreseen in the legislation of the two countries, with the leading roll of the investigation and the prosecution. The Minister of Transport Peter Mutafchiev informed the Ministers Council, the Prosecution and the Investigation that the Turkish authorities have expressed their willingness, a second under-water examination of the ship to be accomplished by Bulgarian specialists.
