The Concession Contract for Port Terminal Svistov Operates from Today

The Deputy Minister Vesela Gospodinova signed a protocol for putting into operation of the Concession Contract of Port Terminal Svistov. The Contract was signed on February 15, 2007, between the Minister of Transport and the "Dredger Fleet Istar" Ltd Svistov. The Period of the concession is 31 years. The concessionaire is obligated to accomplish the following port cervices: - Processing of freights and post;
- Passenger attendance;
- Maritime-technical services: Water supplying, phones, electricity, scrap management - resulted from the naval activities;
The Concessionaire is obligated, for the first 10 years of the concession, to achieve freights turnover of 1347 698 tones and average annual passengers stream of 25059 passengers. The investments in the object of the concession should be at least 3 212 000 Levs for the first two years of the concession, 10 637 000 for the first 10 years of the concession and 19 227 000 Levs for the whole period of the concession. The annual concession rewards should be: - A fixed part of 207000 Euro annual concession recompense;
Variable part of 25 percent from growth of the whole amount of the gross incomes, for the running year, towards the basis gross incomes, in amount of 1140000 Euro.
