The "short list" of companies on the contract "Building Works Supervision of the Adjoining Infrastructure of the Bridge near Vidin Kalafat (Bulgaria - Rumania), on the Bulgarian Territory was approved. It was published today, on the Internet page of EC http://ec.europa.eu/europeaid/cgi/frame12.pl. Participants in the procedure included in the short list are: 1. GRUSAMAR INGENIERIA Y CONSULTING S.L. The final date for submission of the tender documents is June 26, 2007. The offers received will be evaluated, according to the regulations of the European Commission. The expectations are that the contract will be signed in September 2007. With this contract an engineer for independent supervision of the adjoining railway and road infrastructure of the Bridge will be appointed.
The building works include: - Building of electric stand alone railway line with 15 kilometers length, including the electrical network, lighting, distant control system, signalization and telecommunication systems;
- Building of international Freight Railway station;
- Reconstruction of the passengers railway station;
- Building of a road with four roadways with 8 kilometers length;
- Building of four viaducts on two levels;
- Building of eight road bridges with openings between one and eleven.
The time for the execution of the contract is 37 months. |
