Minister Mutafchiev Will Greet the Participants in the Rally for People with Disabilities

The Minister of Transport will congratulate the participants in the traditional European rally for people with disabilities “Power for Life”. The event will take place tomorrow, June 2, 2007, at 11 o’clock, in front of the Parliament’s building.
More than 170 people with different kind of disabilities (physical, mental, and sensor) from all over the country will take part in the contest. The competition is conformed to the international regulation and no speed segments are included. The competitors will be divided into two classes – under 1300 cubic centimeters and above 1300 cubic centimeters. During the event a video conference with Alexandro Zanardi – leading Formula I and Indicar pilot with disability will be expected.
The main goal of the initiative is the overcome the isolation of the people with disabilities in Bulgaria, their positive presentation, as well as to focus the public attention on their problems.
