Minister Mutafchiev Approved a Memorandum for Accomplishment of a Project for Public Access to the Port, Railway Station und Bus Station in Burgas

The Minister of Transport Peter Mutafchiev approved a memorandum for accomplishment of the project "Public Access Zone of the Port, Railway Station and Bus Station Burgas" The Memorandum is signed by the Mayor of Municipality Burgas Dimiter Nikolov, the District Governor of Burgas Ljubomir Panteleev, the Director-General of SE "Port Infrastructure" Peter Seferov, the Director-General of NC "Railway Infrastructure" Anton Ginev and the Executive Director of BDZ EAD Hristo Monov. The document gives the possibility for coordination of the joint activities of the institutions for the realization of the project. It is based on resolution Number 38 of the Ministers Council, which declares the project as a target with national importance. The time for its accomplishment is up to the year 2014. The goal of the project is to give a possibility for accomplishment of new public functions to the port area, as well as for integration of the port infrastructure into the city of Burgas, with respect for the interests of the society. It will also stimulate the development of the sea tourism, as well as the yacht and cruise tourism. The Public Access Zone will contribute to the increase of the number, the variety and the quality of the services for the citizens and guests of municipality Burgas. For additional information:
