Minister Mutafchiev Will Take Part in the Session of the Ministers Council on Transport

The Minister of Transport Peter Mutafchiev will participate in the Session of the Ministers Council on Transport, Telecommunications and Energy. It will take place on Mart 30-31, 2009 in Brussels. During the sitting questions connected with the air- road- and sea transport will be discussed, as well as the development of the intermodal transportations. In the field of road transport a project for an EU Parliament and Council directive will be discussed, regarding the working time organization of the persons accomplishing transport activities in the automobile transport. Within the mainframe of the session the issue with the EU vignettes will be also considered. The Position of our country is their implementation by stages first in the main European highway corridors. It is necessary to take account of the impact of the vignettes upon the peripheral countries. Conclusions will be met regarding the Action Plan for Implantation of Intelligent Transport Systems in Europe. In the field of Air Traffic will be discussed questions connected European General Plan for Air Traffic Control within the mainframe of the SESAR Project. The strategic goals, as well as the requirements for the policy of the EU in the field of maritime transport up to 2018 will be also considered on the forum. The building of the European maritime transport space without limitations will be also part of the talks.
