MTITC and Port Burgas Discussed the Anti-Crisis Program

During the work visit in Burgas the last week the Deputy Minister of Transport, Information Technology and Communications Kamen Kichev met the new Management team of the port, in order to inspect the implementation of the measures taken by MTITC. Part of the discussed topics was also the coming reorganization of the administration. "This is inevitable in a commercial company, which suffered huge losses and realizes a weak cargo" said Kamen Kichev on the meeting. "In the anti-crisis program is foreseen reformation of activities, as well as merging overlapping structures. We undertook actions for retraining of the staff, which should be accomplished in the shortest term, he also said. The Management of the Port in Burgas presented a plan with real customers and expected ships for servicing. In the end of the meeting an agreement was reached MTITC to receive every three weeks a statement with the new contracts for upcoming commitments, undertaken by the port. The project "Super Burgas" was presented to Deputy Minister Kichev in the presence of the District Governor Konstantin Grebenarov and the Mayor of the city Dimiter Nikolov. Kamen Kichev commented the very good idea of the project, which will have impact upon the town as a whole, as well as upon the development of the port and its structures.
