Minister Aleksandar Tsvetkov was One of the First Passengers of the Bourgas Weekend Train

The Minister of Transport, Information Technology and Communications traveled by the new train launched for the summer season by “Bulgarian State Railways” EAD . As of today people could travel from Sofia to Bourgas only for 5 hours and 42 minutes for a 30% cheaper price.
The train composition consists only of renovated coaches and will run only on Fridays, explained Minister Tsvetkov. There will be only one stop in Plovdiv before reaching Bourgas. Our goal is to offer to our customers convenient and cheap transport, which, we hope, will make the Bulgarian railways more competitive, added the Minister.
The train composition consists of five recycled coaches and a dining car. The weekend train will depart Sofia Central Station at 15:00h; it will be in Plovdiv at 16:57h and in Bourgas at 20:42h. You must have a prior reservation to travel by the train. The Bourgas weekend train will depart Bourgas every Sunday at 15:20h and will be at Sofia Central Station at 21:18h.
