Bulgaria and India will Develop an Action Plan for High-Tech Parks

The Bulgarian and Indian IT companies are not competitors, they have different advantages that they should pool together, said Bulgarian Deputy Transport Minister Parvan Rusinov, who is in charge of IT policies, and India's Deputy IT Minister Rakesh Singh during the opening of the Fourth meeting of Bulgaria-India Joint Forum on Information and Communication Technologies.
Parvan Rusinov and Rakesh Singh outlined as a concrete area of cooperation the high-tech parks. In the protocol of the meeting is written that representatives from both Ministries will start working on an Action plan, which will include topics of mutual interest such as the founding and management of IT incubators, the exchange of information between the government centres. The two countries stated their interest in the exchange of experience in the area of joint development of e-government applications, software and hardware, service, and long distance providing of server resources.
The fourth session of the Bulgarian-Indian IT forum was also attended by representatives of the Bulgarian Association for Information Technologies (BAIT) and Bulgarian universities and scientific institutes.
