EA Automobile Administration Continues Enhanced Control over Taxis

Executive Agency Automobile Administration continues enhanced control of taxis in Sofia and other cities in Bulgaria. Inspections are made on all hot spots - shopping malls, bus stations, railway stations, hospitals and others.
It was ordered one patrol car of EA AA to be permanently at the airport. The reason for this is that the airport is one of the favourite places of the owners of taxis that run on speculative prices. Most often the people who suffer from unrealistically high charges are foreigners who arrive at Sofia airport. This not only undermines the credibility of the entire industry, but the international image of our country.
To ensure the security and peace of citizens EA "Automobile Administration" continues the inspections. This negative phenomenon is expected to be terminated once the amendments to the Road Act are adopted.
