The results of inspections "Tire" and "Smoke" were presented today

Executive Director of the Automobile Administration Simeon Arnaudov and his deputy Anastas Todorov presented the results of inspections "Tire" and "Smoke."
Since the beginning of inspection "Tire" (September 27, 2010) until now inspectors of Automobile Administration have drawn a total of 345 acts out of 14,500 checked vehicles. In 19 vehicle examiners found rupture of the tire.
Within the inspection “Smoke “ for harmful emissions in the exhaust of trucks and buses launched on October 14, 2010, inspectors checked 203 vehicles. 15 vehicles were stopped temporarily of operation until successfully passing a technical inspection.
Simeon Arnaudov said that the inspections of EA Automobile Administration throughout the country will continue as they are to cover the vehicles of public transport.
These inspections are part of the policy of the Ministry of Transport, Information Technology and Communications to improve safety of vehicles and to ensure the health and safety of citizens and reduce the adverse environmental impacts from the use of cars.
