Minister Tsvetkov bestowed a prize “Inspector of 2010” on state employees of Automobile Administration

The Minister of Transport, Information Technology and Communications Aleksandar Tsvetkov bestowed prizes “Inspector of 2010”. For first time this award is given to employees of Executive Agency “Automobile Administration”.
During the ceremony Minister Alexandar Tsvetkov said that this award is a recognition of the professionalism and success of the agency's inspectors. During the past year were made numerous inspections of school buses, bus stations and public transport in the country. Also were made inspections of the tires and burned gases of buses and trucks, said Minister Tsvetkov. With its work the Automobile Administration has contributed much to improve the road safety. During the last year the Automobile Administration has imposed over 21 000 acts and the fines are nearly 8,5 million levs.
There were selected 15 of 270 inspectors to take part in the competition for a broadcast of “Inspector of 2010”.
The selection was made on the basis of several key criteria:
- the inspector mustn’t have disciplinary violations and penalties;
- the inspector must have demonstrated the best results in his work in 2010 envisaging:
The total of imposed acts;
A number of appealed and canceled criminal decrees, issued on the grounds of the acts;
Total number of administrative measures enforced on the grounds of the acts;
The influence of the violations founded by the inspector;
The competition between the selected inspectors took place in EA "Automobile Administration". The participants decided two tests with open questions that had for an object to verify their theoretical preparation. As well there were given cases and finally the participants had to compile an act. The total evaluation is sum of the evaluations for each element.
The following employees were awarded with a diploma, medal and badge because of the best results achieved in the race: • Georgi Atanasov Yankov – senior expert in the State Automobile Inspectorate in the city of Plovdiv, an employee in the system for 9 years, ranked third with 65,5 points; • Juri Nikolov Radoslavov - senior inspector in the State Automobile Inspectorate in the city of Varna, an employee in the system for 11 years, ranked second with 67 points; • Ivaylo Borislavov Manolov - senior inspector in the State Automobile Inspectorate in Sofia, an employee in the system for 10 years, ranked first with 74 points.
The regional departments in Ruse and Plovdiv were awarded also with diploma, medal and badge because of the best results achieved in 2010. There were imposed criminal decrees to the total value of 2 million levs of which were collected and paid in the Republican Budget about 1,5 million levs.
