Changes in the Management Board of Bulgarian Posts and Port of Burgas

By orders of the Minister of Transport Information Technology and Communications, Danail Papazov, changes were made within the management of “Bulgarian Posts” and “Port of Burgas” Ltd.
Plamen Pavlov was elected as Executive Director of Bulgarian Posts Ltd and the other new member of the board is Tsvetana Kostadinova. Nikola Sherletov, who until now was a part of the management team, was elected as chairman of the Board of Directors.
The newly appointed board members are part of the managerial structure of Bulgarian Posts who are familiar with the company’s issues and the various work specifics associated with it. Plamen Pavlov was employed by Bulgarian Post in 2010 and has been responsible for the firm’s restructuring and relations with the territorial divisions. From the 1st of October 2010 he served as director of Human Resource Management and Ownership. Before that he worked in the Bulgarian Telecommunications Company (BTC) and moved up from head of a territorial division to manager of Property Management. He has acquired degrees from the College of Communications, Technical University of Varna, Varna Free University and the Institute of Economics and is fluent in English.
Tsvetana Kostadinova has worked in “Bulgarian Post” from 2011 as Director of the Finance and Economics Directorate. Previously, she held various positions in private companies responsible for the financial and accounting activities. She obtained a master’s degree at the University of National and World Economy (former Higher Institute of Economics "Karl Marx") and is fluent in Russian and English.
Changes took place in the management of the Port of Burgas Ltd as well. Nikolai Tishev was appointed as Executive Director and Argir Boyadziev as Chairman of the Board of Directors. The other newly appointed board member is Alexander Kaltchev.
The new CEO of the port, Nikolai Tishev, has an extensive experience in maritime transport, freight forwarding and shipping agency services. He held various positions in “Port of Burgas” Ltd, “Port of Burgas – Workforce Society” Ltd, “Lion Shipping and Chartering” Ltd, SOMAT Ltd and others. He was also an intern for the investment firm Morgan Stanley in the town of Portsmouth, New Hampshire, USA. He is fluent in English and Russian.
Agrir Boyadziev served as Executive Director of Port of Burgas as well as Chairman of the Board of Directors. He is fluent in English and Russian. Alexander Kaltchev has held various positions in the Navigation Maritime Bulgare (NAVIBULGAR) and Bulgarian Maritime Training Centre (BMTC) including captain and first mate. He is fluent in English and Russian. |
