Minister Danail Papazov signed a Memorandum of Cooperation in the field of vocational training in road transport

The Minister of Transport, Information Technology and Communications Danail Papazov, the President of the Association of Bulgarian Enterprises for International Transport and Roads (AEBTRI) Georgi Petarneichev and the Secretary General of the International Road Transport Union (IRU) Umberto De Preto today signed a Memorandum of Cooperation in field of vocational training in road transport.
The parties shall cooperate to improve the quality and effectiveness of training of drivers and carriers operating in Bulgaria. It is planned to establish a working group with representatives of MTITC, ABEITR and IRU Academy. The purpose of the working group will be to explore the possibility of adapting the training programs and exams of IRU Academy to the conditions in Bulgaria and their possible application in national standards for training and exams.
The working group will propose to the Minister of Transport, Information Technology and Communications the project implementation plan for these programs in the mandatory training and examinations in Bulgaria on matters for which MTITC is a competent authority.
The Parties will discuss the possibilities of cooperation in personnel training and the conditions and procedures for issuing and / or recognition of diplomas for professional competence in the field of road transport. |
