By March 2, 2014 Executive Agency "Automobile Administration" will certify service stations entitled to install gas systems in cars. Currently everyone can install gas equipment in cars without any limitations. After March 2, 2014 only certified garages will be able to do so, added Ganev. He explained that the new requirements are introduced in order to enable supervisory authorities to inspect these activities and thus ensure the safety and health of citizens. Once prepared the list of certified garages will be posted on the website of the Automobile Administration.
Dimitar Ganev announced that at the beginning of next year a new module to the control system of technical inspection will be introduced, which will automatically scan license plates that undergo the testing. So far the staff of Automobile Administration reviewed the records of examinations randomly or signaled. The new module will detect and alert for unrecognized numbers, as this will limit the illegal practices and ensure that vehicles pass through technical inspection. |
