The Minister of Transport, Information Technology and Communications Danail Papazov and the Minister of Youth and Sports Mariana Georgieva validated a thematic post stamp “Football 2014”.
Football is a game that can make dreams come true not only for a single team but for the whole nation, said Danail Papazov during the ceremony. He added that Bulgaria is among the first in the world to start presenting the football topic in philately back in 1931.
The edition that is being validated on the day of the opening of the 20th World Championship in Brazil consists of a block post stamp, an illustrated envelope and a special post seal. The artist is Hristo Aleksiev. |
