Bulgaria Air to exploit the airlines to China and Belarus

The government appointed Bulgaria Air AD as an air carrier that will exploit the airlines between Bulgaria and China and Bulgaria and Belarus. The carrier shall start the exploitation within six months of its appointment entering into force.
Following a tender, Bulgaria Air is given the right to provide transport services along the regular lines Sofia – Almaty – Beijing – Sofia, Varna – Minsk – Varna and Burgas – Minsk – Burgas. The lines were contracted with agreements between the governments of Bulgaria and China and Bulgaria and Belarus.
The appointment of a Bulgarian air carrier at the aviation markets Bulgaria-China and Bulgaria-Belarus will contribute to the increase in passengers flow from and to Bulgaria. This will provide conditions to boost the commercial and economic relations, attract new revenues from tourism, as well as to increase revenues from the transportation of passengers and cargo and reduce the prices of tickets on the lines to China and Belarus with actual competition. |
