The Minister of Transport Information Technology and Communications appointed Ivan Kapitanov as a member of the Board of Directors of the "Port of Bourgas" EAD.

Argir Boyadziev, who held the position until now, has been released. The Board of Directors are expected to select an executive Director of the Company.
Ivan Kapitanov has graduated "Economics and Industrial Management" at the University of National and World Economy. He has years of experience in the State Administration. From 2002 to 2011, he worked as an expert in the "Finances of the Real Sector" at the Ministry of Finance and after that, he was also the Deputy Executive Director of State Fund "Agriculture". He was also Vice-President of the Association of the "Center for Strategic Analysis, Financing and European Funds." He is a proven expert in the preparation of the financial and economic analyzes and his expertise and experience will be helpful in the management of the company.
The Minister of Transport, Information Technology and Communications and Communications exercises the ownership rights of the state in 22 trade companies and state enterprises. Eight secondary usherettes on their budget are under the Minister’s ownership right. In all 31 structures the total number of their managers, who are appointed by the Minister is 68. Since the beginning of the mandate of the caretaker government, Minister Nikolina Angelkova reshuffled in six of the trade companies and institutions, as in only 3 of them the changes affected the Executive Director. The aim of the changes is to optimize and improve the activity of the companies and the agencies in the Ministry of Transport, Information Technology and Communications. |
