A postal card dedicated on the 65th anniversary of the establishment of diplomatic relations between the Republic of Bulgaria and the Socialist Republic of Vietnam, is the newest postal-philatelic edition related to bilateral diplomacy. The commissioning seal was laid today by the Deputy Minister of Transport, Information Technology and Communications Valery Borissov, the Deputy Minister of Foreign Affairs Valentin Poryazov and H.E. the Ambassador of Vietnam to Bulgaria Le Duc Luu.
“Among the examples of the friendly relations between the two countries is the community of Vietnamese citizens who graduated and worked in Bulgaria in the ‘80s. These people are somewhat a bridge between the two countries”, said Deputy Minister Borissov at the ceremony. “For more than six decades now Bulgaria and Vietnam have been developing friendly relations and fruitful cooperation based on mutual respect and trust as well as on the strong connections between people at different levels”, added Deputy minister Poryazov.
Ambassador Le Duc Luu highlighted that the two countries have established a mechanism for high-level political dialogue. He pointed the meetings between government heads and the bilateral trade and economic relations as an example of the good cooperation.
