12.05.2015

The European Commission starts public consultation to investigate the opportunities to improve quality, speed and reliability of cross-border parcel delivery.

The purpose of the poll is for all stakeholders from the postal sector to provide their views on the difficulties that they experience with deliveries and to define the areas to improve the service.

The consultation encompasses small parcels up to 2 kg and packages up to 20 kg to be delivered within Europe and will be carried out in the EU and EEA member states. The poll targets the citizens, business, state institutions and other stakeholders.

The questionnaires as well as any additional information can be found at:

http://ec.europa.eu/growth/tools-databases/newsroom/cf/itemdetail.cfm?item_id=8169&lang=en&tpa_id=0&title=Consultation-on-cross-border-parcel-delivery

Due to the specificity of the information the answers to some of the questions, where indicated, will be treated confidentially. In addition everyone can request the information they provide not to be published.
