Minister Ivaylo Moskovski is committed to fully cooperate with the Customs Agency until the situation on the Bulgarian-Turkish border gets normal

The Minister of Transport, Information Technology and Communications Ivaylo Moskovski promised full logistical support to the Customs Agency with regard to the settlement of the situation with long lines of freight vehicles at border crossings with Turkey. During the today's emergency meeting between the Minister of Finance Vladislav Goranov, the Director of Customs Agency Vanyo Tanev and representatives of the Bulgarian carriers, Minister Moskovski committed to cooperate for the swift transit of the lines of vehicles. 

Immediately after the meeting, Minister Moskovski ordered the Executive Agency "Automobile Administration" to assist the Customs Agency and assist with reorganizing the traffic in two lines. One of the lines is for transit vehicles and the other – for those whose documents will take more time to process by border authorities.

During the meeting it was decided that the director of Customs Agency will visit checkpoint "Kapitan Andreevo" tomorrow and will order for the necessary organization in view of the faster processing of documents. Representatives of State Automobile Inspection from Haskovo and the region will be at the disposal of Mr. Tanov to settle the situation at the Bulgarian-Turkish border.

Representatives of professional organizations thanked the Minister Moskovski, Minister Goranov and Mr. Tanov for the rapid response and the assistance provided.
