More than 15 000 residents of one of the busiest districts of Burgas - Zornitsa will use postal services in a renovated post office. The renovated premises which covers an area of 150 square meters was opened today by Deputy Minister of Transport, Information Technology and Communications Dimitar Genovski and the Executive Director of Bulgarian Posts EAD Deyan Duneshki.
The post office has been included in the company’s investment program because of the stable positive financial results over the past three years, Deputy Minister Genovski said at the opening ceremony. He recalled that in 2018, the staff team paid pensions to 12 700 people, processed and delivered 42 000 parcels to the country and over 19 000 abroad. "This post office accepts and pays money transfers, takes out subscriptions, sales electronic vignettes, vouchers and merchandise," said the Deputy Minister.
“Bulgarian Posts” EAD funded the repair works. Four post offices have been reconstructed in Burgas in the last year, and in less than a month it is the second opened modernized post office in the country.
