Bulgaria will build a national infrastructure and supply, installation and personalization of a graphical user interface for Integrated Maritime Surveillance, allowing cross-border and transectoral exchange of information within Bulgaria and the European Union, based on the CISE data model.
The platform of a national CISE Node will be built under the project "Implementation of Integrated Bulgarian Maritime Surveillance (InBulMarS), based on a Common Information Sharing Environment (CISE) for monitoring the EU maritime territory - with the acronym InBulMarS 2 ”.
Today, during a working meeting in Burgas, organized by the Maritime Administration Executive Agency with the project partners, the selected contractor STEMO Ltd. was presented.
The project started on August 4, 2020 and has a duration of 30 months. It is implemented under the Maritime and Fisheries Program 2014-2020, and the beneficiary and leading partner of the project is the Maritime Administration Executive Agency.
The total budget of the project amounts to BGN 3,017,090, of which 85% is provided by the EU through the European Maritime and Fisheries Fund, and 15% is national co-financing.
The project partners are the Bulgarian Navy, the Executive Agency for Fisheries and Aquaculture, Directorate-General for Border Police, the Customs Agency, and the State Agency for National Security, as an observer.
