The Bulgarians are at eight place by activity within use of the EU Portal “Your Europe” for 2016. The Ministry of Transport, Information Technology and Communications is in charge of the Bulgarian information, which is provided to the pan-European website. Bulgaria received a positive assessment in the latest Bulletin on the Single Digital Market for 2016 for fulfilment of the national commitments on the Portal.
428 988 of our compatriots have used information from the “Citizens” Platform, and 75 987 – from the “Entities” Section. The first places under number of visits are taken by Italy, Great Britain, Germany, Finland, Spain and Poland.
One of the most visited is the “Travelling” Section, with 37,9 % of the total number of users. The other demanded sections are “Job” (20.8 %) and “Vehicles” (13 %). On the “Entities” Platform the people have demanded most information in “Charges” Section (40.5 %), followed by “Finance and Funding” (26.8 %), and “Selling Abroad“ (9.6 %).
The “Your Europe” Portal was established for helping the people and entities to live or to perform economic activity in the EU by providing available information on their rights within the single market and directing them to the respective Services for assistance when it is necessary. The information, published on the two platforms “Citizens” and “Entities” is multilingual, and the EU Institutions and national governments provide it.
