A postal card dedicated to the 140th anniversary of signing of the Constantinople Peace Treaty was validated today during the European Philatelic Exhibition "Plovdiv Fila 2019" and the International Fair "Bulcollecto". The card was launch by Deputy Minister of Transport, Information Technology and Communications Andreana Atanasova, the Bulgarian Philatelists Union’s Honorary President Simeon Saxe-Coburg-Gotha and Nikita Lobanov-Rostovsky who is Prince Alexei Lobanov – Rostovsky’s grandson. Prince Alexei Lobanov – Rostovsky is the one who signed the Treaty on behalf of Russia. The Bulgarian Post's Executive Director Deyan Daneshki also took part in the ceremony.
The edition is in a collector's circulation of 881 pieces, and the design is by Toma Galov.
Later in the day, Deputy Minister Andreana Atanasova validated a postage stamp "Bulgarian Culture and Art - 100 years since Nikolay Haytov’s birth". It is printed in a circulation of 10 300 pieces, and the artist is Ludmil Metodiev.
On the second day of the International Philatelic Exhibition "Plovdiv 2019", the Ministry of Transport, Information Technology and Communications was awarded gold medal by the organizers of the event for the support given to the Bulgarian philately.
