Deputy Minister Anna Natova held bilateral meetings with the Ministers of Transport of Uzbekistan and the Czech Republic

Within the framework of the International Transport Forum in Leipzig, Deputy Minister of Transport and Communications Anna Natova held meetings with Uzbekistan's Transport Minister Ilham Makhmatov and Czech Transport Minister Martin Kupka.

Deputy Minister Anna Natova agreed with Minister Makhmatov to hold a joint committee on air transport in Uzbekistan in June. The aim is to discuss opportunities for developing sustainable multimodal transport connectivity between Asia and Europe, as well as creating a platform for cooperation between logistics companies from both countries.

During the bilateral meeting of Deputy Minister Natova with Czech Minister Kupka, the implementation of the current infrastructure projects was discussed. The possibility of supporting the Czech initiative to change the deadlines for the implementation of projects from the current programming period was also commented. Emphasis was placed on the need to renegotiate the financing framework in order to obtain more funds for the implementation of the projects.
