Deputy Minister of Transport and Communications Bozhidar Kostadinov met with representatives of the Polish railway industry. During the discussion, the possibilities for cooperation between Bulgaria and Poland were discussed.
Deputy Minister Kostadinov said that the exchange of experience is a useful move for sustainable development. "The Ministry of Transport and Communications ensures maximum transparency in the event of international investor interest, which in turn leads to a quality result", he added.
Experts from the Polish infrastructure sector presented their strategies for the implementation of joint investment projects. They presented their concepts for repair activities of wagons and locomotives, as well as expressed their intentions for joint cooperation between the Bulgarian State Railways and the Polish State Railways.
Both sides joined efforts to work together on innovation and new programs in the transport sector.
The working meeting was attended by representatives of the Polish Investment and Trade Agency PAIH, PKP Intercity S.A., Railway Institute, H. Cegielski Fabryka Pojazdów Szynowych Sp z o.o. and PESA Bydgoszcz S.A.
