Deputy Minister of Transport and Communications Dimitar Nedyalkov participated in the 20th anniversary Vienna Economic Forum — Vienna Dialogue for the Future 2023. The theme of the forum is "Continuing to Build Economic Bridges through Difficult Times".
During the conference, opportunities for building efficient and reliable infrastructure, energy and digital networks were discussed. The economic and financial stability in Europe was discussed, as well as the challenges countries face when taking decisions related to economic cooperation.
Prime Minister Acad. Nikolay Denkov together with the EU Commissioner for Economy Paolo Gentiloni, the Prime Ministers of the Republic of North Macedonia and the Republic of Kosovo — Dimitar Kovacevski and Albin Curti, and the Deputy Prime Ministers of the Republic of Moldova and Montenegro — Dumitru Alajba and Nick Djellosai participated in the discussion panel "Building Economic Cooperation in Difficult Times". The Minister of Economy and Industry Bogdan Bogdanov also participated in the forum.
The main objectives of the Vienna Economic Forum are — to promote investment opportunities in the region from the Adriatic to the Black Sea; to assist in the preparation of joint projects and their implementation; to support the implementation of public and private interests in relation to the various projects in the region as part of a united Europe.
The member countries of the Vienna Economic Forum are Albania, Austria, Bosnia and Herzegovina, Bulgaria, Croatia, Kosovo, Moldova, Montenegro, North Macedonia, Romania, Slovenia, Turkey and Ukraine.
