The transport system has an acute need for educated and well-qualified man-power, desiring to develop in this sector, stated Deputy Minister of Transport, Information Technology and Communications Velik Zanchev at a graduation ceremony of 2018 graduates with a bachelor's degree of “Todor Kableshkov” University of Transport. He stressed that the sector is developing extremely dynamically and staffing in railways, metro, maritime transport, aviation and road construction is a key factor for progress.
"We are making significant investments for the development of transport, incl. in new infrastructure, new rolling stock, modern management and security systems, but without the human factor, progress in this sector is impossible", said the Deputy Minister to the graduates. He also pointed out that the most valuable resource of the young generation is its constant pursuit of development and reforms and wished all graduates to stay and work in Bulgaria.
166 bachelors received their diplomas during the ceremony in the University today. The event was also attended by representatives of National Railway Infrastructure Company, “Holding BDZ” EAD and State Enterprise “Transport Construction and Rehabilitation”.
