Deputy Minister of Transport, Information Technology and Communications Velik Zanchev met representatives of the management of China's largest heavy-duty truck manufacturer.
The main topic during the talks was Sinotrak's plan to build a heavy trucks assembly plant in Bulgaria. The company is well known on the European market and already has offices in some European Union countries.
Sinotrak (China National Heavy Duty Truck) is one of the leading state-owned companies in China, established in 1960. The company's last year turnover amounted to EUR 11 billion, and from 2009, the German concern MAN is a shareholder with 25%.
