For 95 years “Todor Kableshkov” University of Transport has generated professionals in the transport system, stated Deputy Minister of Transport, Information Technology and Communications Velik Zanchev in his address during the official opening of the academic year at the university.
"I hope that you will take advantage of the wonderful training conditions that “Todor Kableshkov” University provides and of the various scholarship programs in the system of the Ministry of Transport, Information Technology and Communications to be fully prepared for better professional realization after graduation". With these words Deputy Minister Zanchev addressed the students of the bachelor's and master's programs of the university, which marks this academic year 95 years since its establishment.
Within the event was opened a new study hall, which will be named after the patron of the university - Todor Kableshkov.
Today Flotilla admiral Boyan Mednikarov, Prof. DSc.M.Sc., Rector of “Nikola Vaptsarov” Naval Academy was awarded the title "Doctor Honoris Causa" of "Todor Kableshkov" University.
