Deputy Ministers of Transport, Information Technology and Communications Lubomir Hadjiysky and Georgi Todorov opened a ceremony dedicated to the presentation of a documental publication devoted to the history of transport troops. "The book "Tracks of duty" contains more than 150 archival and contemporary photographs, more than 20 interviews with co-authors and people who are part of the living history of the transport constuctors", said Deputy Minister Hadjiyski. He stressed that for the first time in the publication were collected new facts and is included complete historical chronology of the establishment and operation of organizations that have built the infrastructure of the independent Bulgarian state after 1888.
According to Deputy Minister Hadjiyski the publication will contribute to enriching the academic preparation of students who have chosen a career in the transport sector, as well as to all patriotic people of the younger generation.
"Tracks of duty" is dedicated to the 130th anniversary of the establishment of the former troops of the Ministry of Transport, and to the 15th anniversary since the establishment of State Enterprise "Transport Construction and Rehabilitation" and the Higher School of Transport „Todor Kableshkov ". Compiler of the book is Assen Yossifov and co-authors are another 11 individuals connected with the history of transport troops.
