The motor ship Vera Su, which ran aground about a year ago, will be auctioned by open bidding. The initial price is determined based on an expert assessment prepared by a licensed independent assessor.
The stated auction price for the sale of the vessel is USD 460,000 excluding VAT. To participate in the auction, a deposit of 10% of the initial auction price of the vessel being sold is required.
The deadline for submission of applications for participation expires at 5:30 p.m. on September 27, 2022, and they must be submitted to the Office of Maritime Administration – Varna Directorate, City of Varna, 5 Primorski Str.
The auction with open bidding for the sale of the self-propelled motor ship Vera Su will be held on September 28 at 11 a.m. in the building of Maritime Administration – Varna Directorate.

Motor vessel Vera Su ran aground off the Yailata area near Kamen Bryag on September 20, 2021 and was towed after more than a month on October 26, 2021. The overall towing and retrieval operation, identified by experts as extremely risky, was well planned, coordinated and executed with a strictly followed plan under the control of the current Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Transport and Communications Hristo Alexiev.
