Today at the Inter Expo Centre in the city of Sofia the Minister of Transport and Communications Georgi Gvozdeykov launched the second edition of the specialized forum for unmanned aviation ‘Inter Drone Expo’. The exhibition is the first in the region that gives everyone the opportunity to learn about unmanned aerial systems. The Minister of Innovation and Growth Milena Stoycheva also took part in the event.
‘The aviation industry is an extremely important economic contributor to the growth of any country in the world. It is especially important that you find the strength and means to promote this industry, which is the future of humanity,’ said Minister Gvozdeykov, addressing the organizers of the event and expressed confidence that Bulgaria can host an even larger forum. ‘In the Ministry of Transport and Communications you have a serious partner you can rely on to develop this initiative related to innovation and technology in the aviation business.’
‘Inter Drone Expo takes place in the period 15—17 June 2023. On June 18, demonstrations will be held at Lesnovo Airport, with demonstration flying of various drone models, gyrocopter, as well as panoramic balloon ascent.
