Minister of Transport, Information Technology and Communications Rossen Jeliazkov awarded the winner in the category "Telecommunication and Communal Services" to the IT Project Awards of the Year organized by ICT Media.
He noted that the project winning the race combines two of the main trends in technology development. These are data processing, storage and cloud-based solutions for data services. "It will be one of the main challenges for the next decades," Minister Jeliazkov said.
The growing trend of data portability, increased use of it everywhere and at any time, as well as significant sanctions for failing to comply with stringent data protection rules according to EU requirements, identified the minister as the new challenges for business in the sector.
