Next week, I will decide on the deposited resignations from the members of the Board of Directors of Holding BDZ EAD. This was announced by the Minister of Transport, Information Technology and Communications Rossen Jeliazkov during a briefing on the subject.
"The resignation of the BDZ leadership is not an assessment of their work, but that is my understanding of policy and is about to decide in the next few days whether to accept the resignations together or separately," he said.
Minister Jeliazkov said that when he took office, he was confident the management had no problems with the company, except for the new rolling stock contract, which is currently suspended. "However, on October 24, 2018, I appointed an inspection by the Internal Audit Unit of MTITC. The aim is to analyze the readiness to implement the train timetable, the state of the rolling stock and other problems that could be detected during the inspection, "he added.
Minister Rossen Jeliazkov pointed out that he was surprised by publications in the media about the existence of a report deposited in MTITC and SANS by the executive director, alleging a number of problems in the holding. The Minister said that such a document was not sent to him. According to him, CEO of Holding BDZ EAD, Vladimir Vladimirov, categorically denied that such a report was sent to SANS, as alleged in the media.
The motives for the resignations indicate distorted communication between the members of the board of directors of the company which may affect the work of the subsidiaries as well.
