I will pronounce on the resignations of the members in the Board of Directors at BDZ Holding EAD only after the completion of the audit procedures carried out by the Internal Audit Unit at the Ministry at the end of the month, announced the Minister of Transport, Information Technology and Communications, Rossen Jeliazkov, at a hearing in the sectoral parliamentary committee.
During the session Minister Jeliazkov pointed out that, a decision is to be taken on train schedules to ensure the provision of the service. “It is in the interest of citizens to have a secured schedule instead of ambitions one that is difficult to stick to”, he further added.
Concerning the structure of the national railway carrier, Jeliazkov stated that it is vital to conduct a thorough analysis to evaluate its current functionality. “The grounds for BDZ having a holding structure are no longer applicable. Its transformation shall add up to the company’s activities”, underlined the Minister.
