I am aware of the problems in road passenger and freight transport and we will work together to improve conditions in the sector. This was stated by the Minister of Transport and Communications Krasimira Stoyanova during the meeting held today with representatives of the branch organizations.
"We are starting immediate talks with the line ministries to identify urgent measures to ease the passage of heavy traffic through the border crossings. All options will be considered in order to find realistic and quick solutions to this issue", noted Krasimira Stoyanova. She pointed out that the work in the administration would be accelerated so that there would be no delay both in administrative services and in the drafting of legislative changes.
The representatives of the sectoral organisations expressed their support and readiness for joint actions so that measures could be taken that would lead to sustainability in road transport and increase the efficiency of transport services.
